Facts About Hainan Province
Hainan Province (in simplified Chinese 海南省) is the province in China which has the largest area of ocean. Hainan is having a tropical maritime monsoon climate, with annual temperature less than 15 degrees Celsius. January and February would be the months with coldest weather, which is just about 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. In July and August, it would be the hottest months, with about 25 to 29 degrees Celsius. Besides the mountains in the central part of the Province, the daily average temperature was over 10 degrees Celsius.
The eastern part of Hainan Island is a location where many typhoons would pass by, and more than 70% of annual rainfall in Hainan Province actually comes from the summer rainy season and typhoons.
